I recently held my first Tweetup, where I met with 20 people from all around Maryland for a casual conversation about the issues that mattered most to them. We talked about our proposed budget, what we’re doing to give Marylanders the Skills2Compete and what programs we have in place to improve the health of our people. (I was also asked what I was reading–at the time it was President Clinton’s new book “Back to Work”)
Some of the most innovative ideas we use in State Government have come from Marylanders themselves and I always look forward to public forums where I can hear from people firsthand.
That’s why I am pleased to announce that I will be participating in the Baltimore Sun’s first-ever newsmaker series on Wednesday February 15th. The forum is free and open to the public but space is limited, so reservations are required. If you have a question for me, you can submit them to firstname.lastname@example.org
