Foster Parent Appreciation Month
Public Service Announcement
Hi, I'm Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown. This month is Foster Parent Appreciation Month, the month that we recognize Maryland's 3,000 foster parents.
The job that foster parents do is incredible. They provide caring and loving homes for children in foster care.
Maryland needs more foster parents. There are over 9,000 children in foster care and we know that most of them will do better in a family setting. I hope you would consider joining other Maryland families by becoming a foster parent.
If you, or someone you know, is interested in helping to provide a child with a safe, stable home, please call 1-888-635-4372. We need you to call today. Thank you.
