ANNAPOLIS, MD (February 6, 2008) – Governor Martin O’Malley released the following statement today in reaction to Constellation Energy failing to show up at their hearing today with the Public Service Commission.
"If Constellation is suing ratepayers for an additional $386 million, it seems only fair that they would appear before the Public Service Commission to explain why. We will support the Public Service Commission in its efforts to obtain answers to the very serious questions that have been raised about ratepayer liability for stranded costs and decommissioning expenses."
