Governor Martin O'Malley Hosts Forum Series in Preparation for Second Term

Five “Maryland Forward” forums will help shape second term 

 

ANNAPOLIS, MD (December 16, 2010) – Governor Martin O’Malley will host a forum series in preparation for a second term as Maryland’s Governor, including stakeholders and experts in five broad areas that have served as priority areas for the O’Malley-Brown Administration.  The “Maryland Forward” forum series will serve to develop strategies for the O’Malley-Brown Administration’s second term, and generate concrete actions and recommendations that support the Administration’s strategic goals. 

Most notably, the forum series will gather the input of various stakeholders, including recommendations for legislative in areas including jobs and the economy; skills and education; sustainability; children and health; and public safety and security.
